Proposed Fare IncreasesJun 23, 2014

Salem-Keizer Transit is considering fare increases for Cherriots, CARTS, CherryLift and RED Line services. Please see this chart for a list of specific changes: Proposed Fare Increase 2015.pdfThe proposed fare increases would take effect on January 5, 2015.

We’re also considering selling passes in new easy ways:

  • One to 14 Cherriots day passes loaded onto an electronic swipe card
  • Ten Cherriots bus trips loaded onto an electronic swipe card
  • The ability to purchase multiple 30-day passes (for example, 60, 90 or 120 days) on one electronic swipe card

Would you find it useful to be able to purchase your fare in these new ways? Please share that information with us!
