New Cherriots
New routes, faster times, better service!
After extensive public outreach to help determine the community’s most pressing transit needs, Salem-Keizer Transit created a plan to address the community’s highest priorities: more options, faster times, and flexible schedules. The Salem-Keizer Transit Board approved the new plan on June 25, 2009.
The new routes and schedules took effect on Tuesday, September 8, 2009. Changes to the Cherriots bus routes and times did not affect the other services Salem-Keizer Transit offers such as CherryLift, CARTS, service to Wilsonville (1X) or Rideshare.
