Cooling Centers

Helping our neighbors keep cool during hot weather

Cherriots provides transportation to and from cooling centers during periods of extremely hot weather. Riders simply need to tell the driver that they are headed to a cooling center and the ride is free.

The hours of operations at each cooling center vary depending on the host's criteria. Verify that a given center is open prior to planning a trip for yourself or someone else. Resources listed on this page can and will change depending on forecasted weather and the availability of resources.

Be safe, watch out for your family and neighbors, and stay cool!
