Cherriots is proud to introduce Wrapped in Community.
Wrapped in Community is Cherriots new annual initiative that invites riders, residents, and local organizations to help choose the themes featured on our bus wraps. Together, we’ll celebrate the cultures, stories, and experiences that make our region unique.
This initiative is led by Cherriots Board of Directors Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Subcommittee in partnership with our Marketing and Communications team. It builds on years of commitment to inclusion and takes it further by opening the process to the community we serve.

Each year, the community is invited to choose from a selection of bus wrap themes curated by Cherriots staff and the DEI Subcommittee.
The top two to three themes are chosen based on community input.
Selected themes are developed into bus wrap designs.
New wraps begin rolling out across Salem-Keizer starting in fall 2026.
A public survey opens for two weeks, giving riders, residents, and our neighbors the chance to choose which themes they want to see on Cherriots buses.
