Regular business meetings and work sessions continue to be held virtually in accordance with the COVID pandemic restrictions. At every regularly scheduled board meeting, the public has an opportunity to speak or provide testimony. Those wanting to provide public comment or testimony must provide their name for a sign-up sheet, which is available just before the start of the meeting. The board will take public comments in the order on the sign-up sheet. Individual comments are limited to 2 to 3 minutes.
The board also welcomes written comments via email or regular mail submitted in advance of the board meeting. These comments will become part of the board record. Submit public comments to firstname.lastname@example.org or SAMTD Board of Directors, 555 Court Street NE, Suite 5230, Salem, Oregon 97301.
The Board provides equal access to its meetings, as required by the ADA and Oregon Revised Statutes. Board meetings are in locations accessible to people who use wheelchairs and other mobility devices.
